Our host met us near the parking garage and escorted us through town to our apartment, pointing out restaurants along the way. They gave us a tour of the house before leaving us for the night. We LOVED the town of Orvieto!! The cathedral was spectacular! It’s a super walkable town with plenty of fun shops and restaurants. Our host met us in the morning for checkout, and offered to let us store our luggage in the luggage locker so we could keep enjoying the town. Highly recommend this stay!

Enzo and Elvira’s place is an ideal base to explore Orvieto. Enzo recommended a taxi driver to pick us up from the station which is probably a good idea when you haven’t yet got your bearings. For the return trip I think it would be quite easy to get the shuttle bus from the Duomo and then the funicular and save the 25 Euro taxi fare. Enzo gave us a great restaurant recommendation - Pozzo Etruscano - great food, friendly staff and excellent value. The beds in the apartment were comfy, shower powerful and plenty of towels provided. Enzo was very accommodating when our train to Orvieto was 35 mins late. All in all a good stay in a beautiful town.

We had a very nice stay in Orvieto ! Enzo was very responsive and provided useful information on parking and local restaurants and greeted us in person to let us in the apartment.
The apartment is very well located and close to the city centre, restaurants and parking. The apartment was also clean and had everything we needed. Would recommend staying there !
