Manish is an absolutely brilliant guide. He is deeply knowledgeable, giving us his full attention and answering all our questions about historical, social and political issues, even the history of Bollywood. He is super engaging and caring of everyone he meets on the tour. We loved our walk through the lovely rural village including a visit to the adorable primary school and people’s homes. What a remarkable insight into the tribal peoples’ lives. We travelled very comfortably in an immaculate air conditioned car. Lunch at Manish’s home with his family was exceptional.
His charming wife showed us how to make chapatti and marsala tea. Because I showed an interest, I was dressed in a gorgeous sari and we got some fantastic photos.
This was so far above our expectations and we thank Manish for his incredible generosity.
This was the highlight of our holiday and we couldn’t recommend everyone more highly to step into a memorable experience.

Our tour experience with Manish was absolutely fantastic and I would strongly recommend him to anyone hoping to get the most from their time in Udaipur. He was extremely professional and easy to communicate with, arranging a last-minute tour for us when I messaged him. He picked us up from our hotel exactly on time and coordinated all of the logistics to make the day free of stress and hassle. He even came with us to our dinner restaurant afterwards to make sure we were comfortably settled and sent me some great recommendations for the following day. Best of all was his incredible depth of knowledge and clear love and enthusiasm for his home city of Udaipur - we learned so much about the history, architecture, and culture and he was able to give such interesting stories and insights about the sites we visited! We were very lucky to spend our day with him!
