The passion of the staff and volunteers and their knowledge about the chimps is so special. Its chimps' choice to show or not. I’m thrilled we saw them foraging for food, grooming each other, showing respect to more dominant chimps, playing, climbing, lounging in hammocks, crossing a bridge from the outdoor yard back inside, and even one peering curiously out a window at us. They were every bit as delightful as I’d hoped.

This is an amazing tour and I would highly recommend doing this as an activity on your trip. This was a small group of 8 which is a perfect size to make sure questions got answered and everyone got a chance to see the chimps that were out and about.

Our guide Ron was great and very knowledgeable of the chimps and facilities. He never tired of answering questions and just so nice. Janice was the second guide and was also very helpful and again so great with all the questions.

This is something you will never forget doing and you'll walk away with a special place in your heart for these chimps.

Yes yes yes! A must do and an extremely worthy cause. Tell your friends and family too.

Our host was very sweet and knowledgable of all things related to the sanctuary. It was beautiful getting to experience the chimps and their big personalities. 10/10. This is a wonderful cause to support. :)
