Im definitely dissapointed with the experience because it's not worth the money I paid. Im not usually the type to leave a bad review, but I was very nervous to book this experience since it's much more expensive than any other experiences in Bali and only had 5 precious reviews. Most of them had great reviews except one that mentioned the cheap makeup etc. It was far from expectations for something that's supposed to be a traditional engagement shoot is what the host told us.


We were picked up by the host from our hotel and brought to a local salon to get my hair & makeup done and to be dressed. The staff was very nice even though they didn't speak much English. However first impressions of the salon is that the makeup is unsanitary because the brushes did not seem like they have been washed for a while. The foundation was caked on super thick he put on so much powder it got all over my clothes as he was trying to brush off the excess. The eyelashes used were low quality. They just kinda do whatever they do on everyone seems like a one look fits all situation. Because I have monolids, the MUA put lash glue on my eyelids and glued them open to the point where I couldn't close my eyes fully so my eyes were burning the whole time. The eyelashes were glued sticking straight up with no curve to them they literally touched my eyebrows almost and they were applied so carelessly that it made my eyes look a different shape because one side was more straight.

The hair was great and the hair pieces were beautiful. The outfits were one size like a previous review said which isn't a problem because they just pin on extra fabric.

The location was not what I expected. Just about every photographer in that part of Bali went there to take the same exact set of pictures! We got there and saw at least another 6-7 couples if not more in areas we didn't see. Everyone were taking the same exact photos with posing etc. so it's not private. If you don't feel comfortable around a lot of other people maybe consider their other location option. We went last week of March and it was super hot and humid so being in so many layers of clothing it was unbearable. Which is not anyone's fault it's just the nature of Balinese weather but we had to cut it short due to the extreme heat it wasn't even enjoyable.

The photographer was really nice but unlike what other reviews said he had no assistant and he doesn't speak too good English so we were having some trouble understanding how he wanted us to pose which can be frustrating in that kind of heat. He tried his best anyways to get as many shots and backgrounds in as possible which I appreciate however the quality of the final pictures were very underwhelming. The quality of them were terrible, if you zoomed in just a tiny bit your faces will be pixelated! The angles he got were not the best either it was mostly from down low which can be very unflattering so I cant use any of the pictures for my wedding. He didn't edit all the photos he only edited some of them but they do send you the original.

Like I said I hate to leave a bad review but I only gave them 2 stars for the host and photographer were really nice, but it's definitely not worth spending almost $400 US dollars for a mediocre engagement shoot. I had just done my engagement shoot with another famous wedding/ engagement
Photographer and those came out so good that I'm really annoyed and bummed that I spent almost $400 USD for an experience that's not private/catered to us and the pictures came out bad too. Please be advised and think before you book.
