My first love was archery. It all began as a 7 year old, growing up in Australia. The sound of the arrow in flight and how bows and arrows have been used since ancient times fascinated me: the ancient Egyptians and their famed chariot archers, the Assyrians, Turkish & Mongolian horse-back archers, the Welsh & English longbow men, Koreans & Japanese Zen archery masters.
