If you are visiting Sapporo in the winter, Shoji’s bike tour is a must! First of all, Shoji has the kindest personality and a contagious smile. Four hours with him will feel like no time at all. Shoji’s knowledge of the area and the beautiful views keeps us captivated the entire time. Also, being on a bike is the only way you’ll see a good portion of the city in the winter. The bikes were incredibly safe (much safer than walking because of the slip factor!). I highly recommend this tour!!

I had an amazing time with Shoji. I usually do a bike or day tour on the first day to get acquainted with a new city and so glad I did this tour. I was a bit nervous to ride through snow as I've never done it before (and living in the Bay area, CA we never get that here) but it was such a pleasant experience. There were quite a bit of snow on the streets but had really good weather and sunlight (of course this will change depending on the conditions(

The snow biking is a very special experience for our family. It is amazing how easy it is to go through a pile of snow with thr fat tire bike. We hope more people will try this experience and also for Sapporo citizen to try and use more bike in the city.
