The tour was both entertaining and very informational. We took advantage of must Medellin’s entire transportation system; tram, cable car and the bus to explore the areas in the city that have been greatly gentrified over the last 15 years. Now we can understand the public transportation impact in Medellin and why it’s getting so popular worldwide. Julián is very knowledgeable about the history and recent transformation in the neighborhoods, I’ve learned a lot about Medellin’s history and culture through this tour. We went to Comuna 8, you can see the Medellin’s real side in La Sierra neighborhood, one of the most dangerous years ago. It isn’t the most touristy place because the projects are very recents, but the view from the top is just amazing and Julián explains very well the project to control the disorderly growth of the city in recent years. I would highly recommend Julián as your tour guide, time well spent!
