OK spot, given the price. It’s in a nice area that is walkable both to town and some local walking trails. However it could really use an overall face lift, it looks and feels like most things were thrifted or run down. This is not a big deal, itself. The windows need screens, as it’s a basement unit, so bugs don’t get in. Easily fixable by the host, I think. You are also sharing the space with two other “rooms”, so be aware your stay will be with others.

All of this to say it’s still a nice spot, and clearly a passion project with love and planning. It was definitely an OK stay - There is room for improvement. I hope the money goes to renovation plans. It’s just way too much $$ for what you get and deal with. Half the price and I’d say 4 stars, with some easy fixes to get to 5. Currently it’s a run down basement shared with other people, and should not charge hotel prices until it’s at least improved. And please, window screens!

Great stay. Nice space really close to downtown Bozeman. A little confusion with check in but Kendall was able to communicate and help resolve quickly.

Kendals place had both privacy and the potential for being social. The bedroom was very private and the large, well equipped kitchen and comfortable living room allows for comfortable interaction with other guests who might be there. Because the kitchen is solely for guests it’s easy to feel comfortable using it. I particularly enjoyed getting to know the two other guests who were there at the same time I was. The next time I’m in Bozeman I won’t have to think about where to stay, this is it! Also it’s a great value
