My husband and I booked this as we love to cook and connect with people, and I wanted to learn more about my Portuguese heritage. Grandmas house is beautiful and so cool to see a local Aruba home. Grandmas communication was excellent. I have food allergies and she was so attentive to that and made sure I was comfortable and safe. This experience made our trip so memorable. We learned about her family and history. We cooked, danced, and learned about the culture. The food was EXCELLENT. We also made a traditional cocktail and had a bottle of Portuguese wine. Once dinner was cooked, grandma had a beautiful set up for us in her garden to eat. She was very organized and the whole experience ran smoothly. This was so much more than a dinner on vacation, it was such a memorable experience we will be talking about for a while. It really felt like we were in a good friends home. I recommend this to everyone!! You will not regret this experience and we will definitely do it again.
