Hi, I’m Yukako, founder of the Zen weaving dojo, Loop of the Loom in New York City.
My passion is to provide mindfulness weaving to people of all ages with or without disabilities.
My interests are to study, explore, and experience how our ancestors live with natural fibers. I have visited many craftsmen in Japan, Mali, and India.
I offer a textile study tour that travels throughout Japan. My handcraft adventure is never ending.
