The rec path plus amazing duri bnb any season. This paved 7 mile path goes through town and head up towards Mount Mansfield and Spruce Peak where the Stowe mountain ski resort is located (it doesn’t make it to the mountain though) there are many eateries and shops to visit along the way including Sushi Yoshi, Tres Amigos, idyletyme, Piecasso, Stowe bath, kitchens and linens, Yellow Turtle and many more! It runs along the Little River and crosses over 10 pedestrian bridges along the way. There are many amazing spots to take a nice cool dip in the river during the summer months. Highly recommended! You can cross country ski it in the winter or run/walk/bike it in the summer months. We suggest renting bikes from AJs which is closest to the start of the path.

Stowe's nationally recognized 5 1/2 mile paved Recreation Path begins in Stowe Village (behind the Stowe Community Church) and ending at Brook Road and Topnotch Meadow. Funded through a variety of sources, the award winning Recreation Path provides a source of enjoyment for residents and visitors alike and is used for walking, biking, inline skating, jogging and cross country skiing. Adjacent to the Recreation Path and fields, the Quiet Path was later created for low-impact walking and is a favorite for dog walking. Great Views of the surrounding Green Mountains and multiple bars/restaurants along the way just steps from the Bike Path.
