Central train station. From here you can catch a train to seaside (Dubulti, Dzintari) as well as Sigulda. Trains are cheap and reliable.

Origo is the most busy shopping mall. If You would like to see an example of running Latvia - definetly come here. Some nice cafes are located here too.
