Lagoon is perfect for the kids and the beach has great waves. Unspoilt and clean.

Voted the best beach in South Africa. Softest white sand. Plenty of Beach. Safe river mouth for kids. Tidal river, so its ever changing. Super fishing, skiing. Best waves for boy surfing. Kite surfing is a winner at Kariega and Bushmans River Mouth and a short drive to Cannon Rocks. Swim, paddle or ski up the river. Frequent sitings of whales in season. Wonderful walks between the rivers on the beach. So many different beaches to go to!

The river mouth and adjacent beach is great for sun-downers, swimming, building sand castles and fishing. The river is great for water skiing and boating, canoes and river fishing.

Walk from Kariega to the Boesmansrivier. Delightful pools and interesting rock formations.

Walk along the cobblestone path next to the river it’s beautiful. Or go to mermaids pool at main beach for a snorkel
