French bistro food in the heart of Bideford! We eat in here so often that we're now friends with the owner, Joe. They serve fantastic and affordable plait du jour (plate of the day) including savoury galettes, sweet crepes and lovely coffees and cakes. My favourites from them are: the vegan tzigan, their house sauvignon blanc, their duck cassoulet and if they have it that day, their chocolate genache cake.

My favourite place for a coffee and a almond croissant. The best for brunch and lunch. Outdoor seating over looking the park. Part of the burton art gallery and tourist information.

Hiding behind Bideford's Burton Art Gallery and museum is a cafe now run by a french family. The lunchtime specials board usually has half a dozen or so choices, which change daily, offering authentic, French rustic country cooking. Oh...and the selection of freshly made crepes...Oh la la!!
