Oldest Saloon in Nevada! About a 30-40 mile drive, but worth it. If you go, stop at Overland Restaurant in Gardnerville for lunch or dinner.

Okay, this is a great piece of history also 15 minutes away. Established in 1853 this is Nevada’s oldest Thirst Parlor (AKA Saloon). It is sooo worth the drive to enjoy an ice cold beer and soak up some history.
