The Pink Palace is a much-beloved landmark near The Greer House. The founder of the Piggly Wiggly Grocery stores donated his mansion made from pink marble to the City for the Museum.

This was a popular field trip destination when I was growing up, but it also has really cool exhibits, usually involving space or dinosaurs. They have a planetarium as well which is also cool. My best friend is getting married here in the spring.

The Pink Palace has a wide ranging collection of historic, educational and technological attractions maintained by the City of Memphis, Tennesse and Memphis Museums, Inc. The Museum includes a CTI Giant Theater and the AutoZone Dome at the Sharpe Planetarium, Lichterman Nature center and historic houses. There is something for every age and ongoing special events throughout the year.
