Fat man's loop trail is a 2.4 mile heavily trafficked loop trail (500 foot elevation gain) on the east end of Flagstaff located near Safeway. It features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. Best used from April through November.

Scenic loop on Mt. Elden, 2 miles, 1.5-2 hr hike, steep & tough but easier than some of the long hikes nearby.

Several difficulty levels at this trailhead. Try the Mt. Elden trail for a real challenge and an amazing view. Allow 3-4 hours for up and back.
