Ruins of Sandfoot castle, stop for a picnic or bit to eat from the cafe and take in the views
Sandsfoot castle was built by Henry VIII in 1539. It is an iconic place to visit and the gardens surrounding it is beautiful with an outdoor café. A great walk or bike ride overlooking Portland Harbour.
Ruins of Sandsfoot Castle set in stunning gardens. Nice coffee / ice cream place there too. 25 minute walk away.
A gorgeous old wreck of a castle, that I think once belonged to Henry VIII! Recently restored by the National Lottery Heritage Fund it's a must see. If the weather is fair then there is a little cafe open in its ground which do the most fantastic cream teas!
