Rentsch Brewery is definitely "off the beaten path" but if you venture a bit away from the downtown area, you'll be treated to a lovely outdoor area (very shady and comfortable even on hot days) and some good local brews. They don't serve food at the brewery, but check their website to see which food truck will be parked there. They usually have a barbecue food truck on the weekends and a series of other fares throughout the week.
