One of our best kept secrets. Watching the sun set over the mighty Hudson River is one of our favorite things to do in the summer. Often we have the beautiful grounds almost to ourselves. The park closes at sunset so be ready to vacate once the sun has gone down.

Constructed between 1730 and 1750, the building is home to the Empire period furniture, exquisite chandeliers, porcelain, and artwork. The surrounding grounds feature a walled garden, 1820's lilac walk, and the wilderness garden. Clermont trails feature some of the best birdwatching in the region.
