This is one of the Bay Area’s very few Russian-style bathhouses, similar to a sauna but hotter, with more steam. There are steam rooms and pools at various temperatures here, and you can book massages, scrubs, wraps, and facials, all using natural products. When you come out, you’ll feel incredibly cleansed. Their food is all Russian, which is very comforting to me. I love that they serve kvass, a fermented drink made from rye bread. It tastes a bit like kombucha, which they also serve.

Important: Bring a nalgene bottle and fill it continuously with water. Drink more water than you ever thought possible. I usually drink 6 liters within a ~4 hour visit. You do not wanna be that person they have to cart away for dehydration, which happens quick in a 240 degree sauna. Check website for clothing optional times.
