Hands down in my opinion their Proper burger is the best burger in the city! Make sure you go to the original 17th Street location.

Best burger in the District! Truffle mac and cheese and elote locos are also highly recommended - as is the Vietnamese fried rice available only on the late-night menu (Wednesday-Saturday starting at 10:30pm). One of the few really good all-day bar/restaurants in town - bonus is that happy hour runs from 12-7 weekdays. Great patio for good-weather days.

Very casual and also known for one of the best burgers in DC. They also have brunch and late night options (until 2am).
