Theertha Gallery is one of the best spaces to see cutting edge contemporary Sri Lankan art. There are regular exhibitions by some of the best contemporary artists in the country and some visiting exhibits as well. It is a modest space which is managed on a not for profit basis by the artists themselves and therefore a great way to support Sri Lankan art directly.
