This quiet retreat is all at ground level with a private patio. It is wheelchair friendly with wide doorways and no stairs.

Virginia’s Country Cottage, a charming guest house constructed in 2020, nestled on 40 acres behind our residence. Enjoy your own private yard and relax on the new outdoor patio featuring a gas fire pit. This 950-square-foot retreat offers tranquility in a secluded setting while still being close to Western Blvd. Nearby amenities include restaurants, grocery stores, a movie theater, mall, and Walmart, making it an ideal spot for those visiting cities surrounding onslow county.

Located only one block from the boat ramp at the Trent River in Pollocksville, NC and nearly halfway between Downtown Historic New Bern and Jacksonville, and only a 1/2 hour from Emerald Isle beaches – Cottage at the Trent is a stand-alone guest house featuring a stocked kitchen, full bathroom, large loft area for sleeping plus a reading/game area. The unit sleeps 4 – 5 and the property allows for parking trailered boats or RV’s.

Prepare home-cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and let the dog out to play in the private, fenced-in backyard. Enjoy your morning coffee however you like it. We provide Keurig and drip coffee makers. With a TV in every room, there will be no fighting over what to watch! This home is 2.8 miles to a Neighborhood Walmart, 4.4 miles to the hospital and 5.6 miles from downtown.

Our waterfront paradise sits on a point on Queens Creek with a 180-degree view of the quarter-mile-wide estuary, just upriver from the Intracoastal Waterway and 5 miles from the ocean. We’ve rehabbed a 1959 fishing cottage, 2 bed, 2 bath surrounded by glass w/ kitchen and living facing the water.

Dockside Daze/Sunday checkout 5pm/Riverfront

Dockside Daze is a beautiful waterfront home overlooking the Neuse River. Relax on the back deck with a glass of wine while watching the sunset view of the New Bern skyline. It’s just a five-minute drive to historic downtown New Bern where you will find great restaurants and plenty of unique, local shops. This property does not have sufficient parking for trailers. Due to allergies, no pets. Check out 5:00pm Sundays only.
