This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. Waterfront Boathouse Apartment in Hvalvík

Specious new boathouse apartment located in the bay in the small village Hvalvík in Streymoy, in the center area in the Faroe Islands. It is only a 10-20min drive from the only airport on the islands, shops and cafes as well as some of the most astounding Faroese sceneries such as Drangarnir, Tindhólmur and the lake Sørvágsvatn/Leitisvatn. We promise a truly magical and secluded place, with sights of sheep, birds and highland cows - all nestled by the river that leads down to the waterfall.

Huset ligger ude i den fri natur i smukke omgivelser tilbagetrukket fra offentlig vej. Der er ikke direkte adgang med bil til huset, der er en frisk tur på ca 100 meter at gå opad en skråning til huset. Du må bære kufferten op til hytten. Det er et perfekt sted til at slappe af og nyde naturen. Huset er beliggende ved siden af en å, som skaber en hyggelig stemning.

It is a peaceful place close to a grocery, restaurant, a bowling alley, a shop with local craft, art and boat museum, and also Viking ruins. There are good conditions for fishing and fishing gear is available. There is free parking, Wi-Fi and cable TV.

Experience this newly built boathouse located right by the seafront and only 100 m from a grocery store, local bakery/cafe, public svimming/spa hall and public busses. The boathouse is 50 m2 + a loft equipped with all modern conveniences.
