Close Enough

We hope you will enjoy our little cottage that is "Close Enough" to all the Outer Banks has to offer. We are located just across the bridge from Kitty Hawk Beach and only 2 miles away from H2OBX waterpark. This charming home is bright and airy with 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and a day bed hiding a reading nook under the stairwell. There is also a small loft upstairs that is a perfect getaway for the kids to escape and play some cards or board games. No pets and no smoking allowed.

Cooter's Cabin

Our cabin is perfect for your family's next getaway. Rick and I have owned this small retreat for 20 yrs. Our 3 kids and 12 grandchildren continue to enjoy it year-round. We decided to allow other families to join in and experience the blessings the cabin has to offer. Why Cooter's Cabin? Rick's nickname Cooter not the fact that American Coot's differ from other ducks in that they have lobed feet instead of webbed! It is do to a good ol' hunting story, how many nicknames are forged.

Peace and quiet abound on this private, 58 acre farm. Located 15 minutes from beautiful downtown Elizabeth City, where you will find shopping, museums, and fine dining.
