Unique stand-alone, partially off the grid cottage overlooking working farm (Fynbos/Protea, Vegetables, Sheep, Cattle). Situated at the foot of the mountain next to a dam. Walking distance from Baardskeerdersbos. 18km from Pearly Beach and 22km from Gansbaai coastal area. This cozy cottage has 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4 guests and has a private woodfire hot tub next to the patio. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate any pets. The working farm has sheep roaming around and also 3 big farm dogs.

The small forest forms part of LOKAL, a 1ha property, with an vegetable garden , Orchards of fruit & nuts, some chickens & the Garden Cottage.

A charming verandah equipped with dining and lounge furniture gives this house its name. The 3 bedroomed house contains a lounge, fully equipped kitchen, dining room and two full bathrooms, (one ensuite). One bedroom and bathroom is accessed from the covered Veranda and has easy access into the house through a door a few steps away. Out on the back stoep (porch) you’ll find your barbecue facilities under the Huilboerboon tree. The stoep area has an additional toilet and washbasin.

Fully equipt self catering unit with one double bed. Only bring your towels for the beach. Come and enjoy a relaxing barbeqeu with a glass of wine on the your own private deck while watching the whales playing right in front of you. Take relaxing walks, enjoy whine tasting, horse riding and shark diving. Lovely beach less than 1 km away. Excellent restaurants. There are stairs to climb. Safe and free parking with an excellent alarm system.
