Organic farm Shepherd's Hut with a view

You will find ‘The Leveret’ our shepherds hut, on our family run organic farm.  With lovely views across the Torridge valley and beyond to Dartmoor, it is a perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature.  The farm has a mixture of meadows for our cattle and sheep, woodlands and arable and veg fields and is a haven for wildlife. Enjoy a bbq at the fire pit with complimentary wood and charcoal. The excellent local pub at Sheepwash is a 1.5 mile walk through farm lanes and quiet country lanes.

Traditional Devon cottage, ideal rural escape

Situated in the heart of Devon, Bridge Cottage is a traditional cob cottage nestled on the banks of the river Torridge, on the edge of the picturesque village of Sheepwash. The 2 bed / 2 bath cottage offers a homely rural retreat for up to four guests – a relaxing space at the end of an active day, or a tranquil place to simply escape. The property has its own cottage garden as well as a private riverbank woodland from where you can fish - or relax by the water and watch the local wildlife.

A calm, deeply luxurious space to recharge & reconnect. The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. The Old Stable-Shippon is in the grounds of an Edwardian former vicarage set in the picturesque hamlet of Dowland in the heart of the unspoilt Devon countryside. It is on the ground floor of a renovated cottage which was built in 1862.The Shippon benefits from its own delightful garden and enjoys sole access to The Green House Spa which offers a hot tub, sauna and shower area. A perfect place to relax and unwind while enjoying the stunning views across the surrounding fields.

The Annex

Welcome to our charming annex in Inwardleigh, near Okehampton and Dartmoor. Our one-bedroom retreat offers a peaceful getaway or a base to explore Devon. The open-plan layout includes a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and a snug living room with a woodburner. Upstairs, a cozy bedroom and ensuite shower await. The annex, next to the hosts' home, provides flexible arrival with a lock box and access key. Your perfect escape awaits in this idyllic village setting.

A beautifully restored 1950s caravan and a hot tub in a vintage Land Rover! The Bluebird Penthouse has panoramic views over Taw Valley, Devon, a 50s-era interior, and a touch of luxury. Features gas pizza oven, double bed, bath, shower, central heating, covered outdoor area, gas BBQ, chiminea fireplace, and trap-door wine cellar! Come surround yourself in nature with breathtaking views and cosy comforts in a charming, quirky little place in the country.

Detached, spacious cottage with private gardens and parking, fully equipped kitchen, fast wifi, bbq, fields to walk in and a hot tub to enjoy under a sky full of stars. Underfloor heating and wood burner to keep you cozy. One bathroom includes a whirlpool bath with shower over. Ensuite is shower room. Two bedrooms: master bedroom with 6ft superking & ensuite, second bedroom with two singles or one superking. Dogs welcome but sorry, no more than two.

'Foxglove Lodge' is the jewel in 'Venn Lake's' crown, being our largest lodge. Guests can soak in the view of the lake, from the full-length windows of the living room. Easterly-facing, guests benefit from spectacular sunrises over breakfast. Of an evening, enjoy a glass of bubbly from the comfort of the wood-fired hot tub, complete with jets and lights. Star gaze to your heart's content, looking out over the dark sky area.
