Primary bedroom faces pond; 2nd bedroom is creekside. Generator in case of power outage. Outdoors include: propane firepit & grill, picnic tables, games, seating by the water. We have a designated parking lot if street parking isn’t available. Never a parking concern. Walking distance to Insurrection distillery, Bonnie & Clyde’s restaurant as well as many local shops.

Welcome to The Sleeping Bear Retreat at Jim Thorpe. Located at the top of the mountain, and only minutes from the center of town, our 2 Bed / 2 Bath carriage house suite offers comfort, privacy and convenient access to everything Jim Thorpe has to offer. While it is not an actual tree house, it is a carriage house surrounded by trees on most sides. The name "Tree House" comes from former guests who named this space, and for that we are forever grateful <3

Cabin by the creek - Fireplace and Jet Tub

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Cozy 2 bedroom cabin that sits a few feet from the creek. The property includes 2 acres of woods on the other side of the creek. Walk across the footbridge and down a short path to a small pond. The cabin was originally a hunting cabin. Over the years it was expanded and converted into a year round residence. The cabin had a 1970’s vibe, so when we renovated it we tried to keep that feel.
