First of - Kathy’s Kottage offers a uniquely private, warm and inviting detached cottage. We are not a huge commercial venture, but owned, operated, maintained, and cleaned by hosts who live within 150 yards. The Kottage is our only offering. We charge a cleaning fee of $35 a stay, so there isn't a list of chores at check out. We take up to 4 hours between every stay to extensively clean and disinfect every surface. We are proud of the Kottage as shown in every review over the last four years.

The Big Barn at Snake Farm Ranch

Just 15 minutes north of down town Lawrence, the Big Barn at the Snake Farm Ranch is perfect for a weekend romantic getaway or a family vacation. Ask us about our on site hiking and mountain biking trails if that is something you are interested in. The apartment is on the top floor or a beautiful post and beam barn. Newly constructed, the barn was built to add guest quarters to the main house and to provide sleeping and practice facilities for our local youth mountain bike team(s).

Built in 1910 with a backdrop of the barn built the same year, The Farmhouse is cozy and quiet. The house has been updated and has all of the modern comforts while maintaining a quaint country feel on the edge of the suburbs. Walk the nature trails at prairie center (1 min), visit KC Wine Co.
