Our quaint sea-side cottage is located on Pennington’s favoured beachside Cherry Lane. Halter Cottage is positioned in a stunning expansive, mainly indigenous garden. The beach is accessed directly from the top of the garden. It is from the top of the dune that you can enjoy the sunrise, sundowners or whale watching in season Pennington is 80 kms from Durban & 600kms from Johannesburg. The house offers two separate units. Unit 1 offers a bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen, and lounge. Unit 2 has two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, a kitchenette, and TV room. Enjoy breathtaking ocean views from the deck, where whales are often spotted! Outside offers a built-in-braai, dining area and a pool. Easy access to main house with steps leading down from parking area. The owners reside discreetly in garden cottage behind property, ensuring assistance while respecting your privacy.

Situated in Doonside, Amanzimtoti, Barefoot Beach House is an exclusive self catering guest house that offers guests a relaxing and homely environment with an eclectic twist. The house accommodates up to 8 guests and is set in a tranquil garden with magnificent views of the ocean and natural coastal flora. We’re conveniently located next to the ski-boat club, allowing for access to a more secluded beach area and rock pools. We are a pet friendly establishment.
