Great hiking paths are in the area and lots of Icelandic horse realated activities are all around.We are located between Hveragerði and Selfoss (5km from Hveragerði and 10km from Selfoss). It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

Esjuberg plays a big part in a very interesting Icelandic Viking story called the Kjalnesinga Saga. In this story, a woman named Esja lived here along with her foster son Búi, who became a very mighty man.
