PLEASE NOTICE: The island is located in the northern part of Iceland. It is a five-hour drive from Reykjavik. And you need to take a ferry to get there. No cars, pedestrians only. The ferry departs from the fishing port of Árskógssandur every two hours and only takes 15 mins.

The house is beautifully located in Hjalteyri. From the house there is a stunning view over the fiord, with both mountains and water in sight. The inside of the house is bright, because of the big windows and light colors inside. The house is located a 20 minutes drive from both Akureyri and Dalvík - two larger cities. The cottage Sólsetur (Sunset) is 25 square meters, built 2016-2017. The cottage has one bedroom with two beds and a sleepingcouch for two in the livingroom. The kitchen is fully equiped. Facilities for four persons. On the terrace there is a geothermal hot tub and a gas grill.
