Cosy, double room in artist’s house.

We are NOT in the city of York, but a separate town 9 miles away, just to clarify. We moved to this characterful house in Tadcaster 5 years ago, slowly renovating with a ‘Fawlty Towers’ vibe. This double room is in the attic so feels cosy, but with dual aspect original sash windows is bright and airy too. It’s the smallest of our rooms so ideal for a quick stop over but has hanging space, tea & coffee and tv and the use of our newly fitted shower room. This room isn’t suitable for large dogs.

A welcoming double room in my two bed apartment. The room is bright clean & fresh looking on to the garden. Room complete with ample storage space, a comfortable double bed topped with feather duvet & pillows for a peaceful night sleep. Access to the bathroom with a WC, shower & use of the shared kitchen. A 30 minute walk into city centre or if you would rather frequent buses to town & train station, set off from right outside the apartment. If have any other questions don’t hesitate to ask!

Comfortable & cozy double bedroom in a modernised 4-bed home of old Victorian railway cottages, in a quiet location overlooking field and wood, next to the lovely, small riverside village of Naburn. Good village pub & riverside café/bar nearby. Just 6km south from the centre of beautiful, historic York with all its major tourist attractions, and easy driving distance to Castle Howard, Fountains Abbey and National Parks. + Located next to National Cycle Routes 65/66, ideal for outdoor people.

The house is secluded and sits within 2.5 acres surrounded by trees. You will have the benefit of a shared breakfast room with complimentary cereals, toast & pastries. There is also an outside space for you to relax in. We live on the property and between us we have 40yrs of hospitality experience. 1 of 2 rooms available

This is a lovely, very spacious loft room, with en-suite. There is a TV, desk area, WiFi, tea + coffee facilities, fridge/ microwave, along with continental breakfast. Ideally situated in a quiet village, 3 miles from Leeds Bradford Airport, and 9 miles from Leeds City Centre, Harrogate and Ilkley. A list of local restaurants etc and there is a pub in the village.We are on a major bus route and Horsforth train station is 4 miles away. We are always around if you need anything - just ask!

We are surrounded by hills and open countryside which fringe the unique open moors.

Welcoming bright double room in beautiful Skelton.

Bright airy room in family home in the pretty village of Skelton, 3 miles from York. Wonderful bathroom for your sole use with a bath and a powerful shower. Complimentary tea and coffee with a kettle and a cool box so you are only ever two minutes away from a hot drink. A word or two about cats…. There are 3 of them here and they are very nosy! This house is very clean but there may be the odd hair thanks to the fluff balls. Those with allergies should probably book elsewhere.

Lamont Guest House is traditional Victorian style property in the heart of Harrogate. Ideally situated for the International Centre, Turkish Baths, Royal Hall, Theatre, Harlow Carr Gardens and for attending functions at the Sun Pavilion. The space available is a large first floor room with en suite, king size bed, east facing, overlooking the garden and front of property. This room is serviced daily. A substantial Aga cooked breakfast is also included each morning.

Charming, adorable place to stay. Small quirky home, located on the doorstep of protected meadows, ideal for walks At my home you will receive a warm Yorkshire welcome. I am located just 1 mile from the M1, and a 10 min drive to the M62. Its a 5 min drive from the Town centre, and just a 3 min walk to the closest bus stop. I have 3 cats, they are not allowed upstairs. Sorry breakfast is not provided. Please expect the cleanliness of a home not a hotel.

This quiet, spacious and comfortable room has a soft and supportive double bed, made up with fresh, soft linens, and a huge wardrobe. You will have access to the shared spaces in the rest of the house, including two bathrooms (both with showers, one with a bath), a well equipped kitchen, cosy living room with wood burner, bar area, gym and garden - shared with myself and usually another guest/ guests. Towels, toiletries, tea and coffee, will be provided.
