It is in walking distance of central Fish Creek and is the perfect launch pad to Wilsons Promontory National Park and the uncrowded surf beaches of Waratah Bay and Sandy Point. Fish Creek is a relaxed kind of place with two community gardens, a decaying tennis court (bring your racquet!) and a famous pub. It is also the home of Alison Lester as well as other creative types.

Right next door is the Coastal Reserve National Park which extends all along the deserted shoreline to the Wilsons Prom national park. All the bathrooms and the kitchen have recently been renovated.
