Great trails for hiking or biking. 40 min. to Philpott Lake for kayaking or boating. Remote area off Rt40 & Rt8 Patrick Co. ROKU TV, elec. F/P, gas heat, A/C, all linens, cookware, serving dishes etc. couch turns into Queen futon, games, DVD player(some DVDs), $50 pet fee required, (enclosed dog run) Bluetooth sound cube, fire pit with wood.

A-Frame Mountain Views/Hot Tub/Firepit

Gaze out at the Blue Ridge Mountains from an A-Frame and give back at the same time. Every 10 nights of rentals will provide 1 free night for a family who has adopted or is fostering. 3 bedrooms and a loft with a sofa sleeper allows for 8 guests (10 w/air mattress). 1 dog allowed. Watch the sunset from the hot tub or chairs around the fire pit. Wake up and sip coffee from your private deck at each bedroom. If you’re looking for a mountain paradise getaway, come stay at the Cottage at Paradise Hollow Farm! Nestled beside a babbling brook (originating from springs on the property) that meanders and feeds into the lake. Watch horses graze from the porch, beautiful sunrises/sunsets, spring/summer firefly shows, rolling hillsides frequently spotted with cattle, beautiful fall foliage, nice trails with rock outcroppings, a small waterfall, and a fallen original homestead. Nicely finished studio w/ private entrance, a full size bathroom, kitchen with sink, refrigerator, microwave and a 2 burner stove. Sleep in comfort in a queen bed with plush memory foam mattress. There is a Mitsubishi heat/AC & Roku smart TV. ALL are WELCOME , I celebrate diversity and inclusion. Also, For an addition fee I offer a workout area and a dry sauna that heats up to 180. I am a licensed massage therapist, when available I can offer massage by appointment in separate studio.

Homeplace

The Homeplace is in the rural countryside of Floyd, VA surrounded by a family farm with a winding creek nearby. You will enjoy beautiful views of pasture fields that may have cattle and sheep grazing and possibly see various wildlife. This home, built in the 1940’s and situated beside a paved road, has been lived in and gently loved. While experiencing the nostalgia of an old home you will also enjoy modern conveniences such as WIFI, central heat/air, and a fully stocked kitchen and bath.

Laurel Branch Cottage

The Laurel Branch Cottage is charming and ideally located near the Town of Floyd and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cottage is surrounded by scenic family farms and near the West Fork of the Little River. Also, we are approximately 35 miles (45 min.) from Virginia Tech. The cottage includes a kitchen, bathroom, a living room with a pull-out sofa bed, bedroom with spacious closet and queen bed, and an upstairs bedroom (outside stair access only) with another full bed.

Great location just 1/2 mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway at MP 152. Surrounded by open fields, mountain vistas abound. This home has been lived in and gently loved for many years. There is one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. An extra cot is available. Fully equipped kitchen! Great for families and a long stay. Guests are invited to join us when feeding the farm animals (alpacas, llamas, Highland cattle, Jacob sheep and angora goats) each morning. Fun!
