The Tin Shack

"The Tin Shack" is a beautiful container-built cabin situated on a hill behind the West Coast town of St Helena Bay. The cabin overlooks the entire bay with the majestic Cederberg mountains in the distance. It has two ensuite bedrooms, each with a shower, basin, and compost toilet. The spacious open plan kitchen/living area has a cast-iron woodburner fireplace which makes the cabin warm and cozy even in winter. The spacious deck has a Weber BBQ, outdoor seating, and a woodfired hot tub.

This luxurious beach house is within the Shelley Point Security Estate. The house is located right on the beach with unobstructed sea views. The Estate boasts beautiful beaches and a golf course. Our rates are charged PER PERSON/per room. There is a large living area with full DSTV & a wood burning stove. Please note that you may only use wood (no charcoal ) in the stove. Pse bring your own wood. Stacking doors open onto a patio with a braai (barbeque) & gorgeous sea views - ideal for alfresco dining.

House Sonop: Churchhaven

Tucked away on the shores of the West Coast National Park you will find a Private Secure Reserve called Pottebakkery, which is one of the villages comprising the greater area commonly known as Churchhaven. This is where you will find House Sonop, an original fisherman's cottage beautifully restored in the traditional vernacular style. The the position of the cottage shelters it against the prevailing winds yet access to the sheltered waters of the lagoon is a mere 60 meters away.
