Manaaki Studio offers a modern, warm and secure stay. The studio is the whole ground floor of our private residence. We offer majestic views of Mount Camel from the waterfront view garden. We are 2kms from Pukenui that offers a shop, bar and restaurant and liquor store. We are a minutes drive from the fishing club.

Watch the sun across the ocean from the tip of Cape Reinga the northernmost point of NZ - visible from this cabin, then the sunset behind Ahipara. Our modern duplex home provides a tranquil location to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life and relax by the solar heated magnesium pool and take in the gorgeous views of the lake and forest. Paengatia is approximately 30 mins from Cape Reinga, Rarawa beach, Henderson bay, giant sand dunes, Te Paki, Tapotupotu bay and Spirits bay not far. The Far North is a hidden treasure, come and explore what it has to offer.

Houhora Harbour Studio

Enjoy your own piece of Houhora in our modern comfortable studio overlooking the Houhora harbour. We are just a stones throw from the wharf so you can cook your own catch in our kitchen with a view. Otherwise, for those who prefer, the local shop, cafe & liquor store is across the road! Pukenui is a great stop on the way to or from Cape Reinga. We are in the heart of Pukenui, a small quiet community. As hosts we share the property should you need any assistance during your stay.

Cape Bound Cabin

Enjoy a wonderful getaway to the Far North in this modern new build (completed 2023) in Pukenui. Situated on two and a half acres at the end of a private lane, this home is a 60 minute drive to Cape Reinga and a convenient 2 minute drive to the local market (4 Square), Houhora Game Fishing club and the famous Honeybees - serving the best pies and fruit ice creams in the Far North. Headed to 90 mile beach? You're just 10 minutes away from the west coast.

Hilltop apartment & farm stay visit

Wake up in your own private, sun-drenched apartment. Perched on a hilltop, uninterupted views of Mt Camel. Our only neighbours are fruit trees, cows, a friendly dog and cat. Stunning sunrises and sunsets, fantastic for romantic get-aways or a writer's retreat. We are currently in spring and have plenty of cute little calves roaming the paddocks. The apartment is set on the north end of our family homestead, with a kitchen, bathroom & private entry.

Ahipara Surf Breaks

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). We have easy access to the property with a lock up double garage plus off street parking (even for a boat). The beach is only a short walk from the house. We live in a house on the same property so we are always available to help with any questions you have. Surfboards and boogie boards are available for use free of charge.

A perfect spot for couples and families (with kids).

Come enjoy our one bedroom, 4 bed retreat. Relax with your morning coffee in the sun with a view of our beautiful palms. Fully self contained with one bedroom with a queen bed and three singles in the common area. A fully equipped kitchen with all you would need to cook a lovely meal. Sky tv and wifi available and plenty of room to park a boat. A perfect spot for a holiday or a one night stop!

Studio Blak - Ahipara

Welcome to Studio Blak, a brand new self contained open planned space to kick back an unwind after a trip to Cape Reinga, a day at the beach or work away from home! Located in Ahipara, a small coastal town 15mins drive from Kaitaia. You’ll find us in a quiet, safe residential subdivision a 5min walk to the local cafe, fish n chips & dairy! A short 2 minute drive or 15min walk to the beach!
