Beautiful and peaceful cottage in the heart of the quaint city of Belhaven, on the Pungo River. The Cottage is located one block from the river, take a stroll to the waterfront at Sunset, walk to everything downtown, just a few steps, then retreat to your own private peaceful sanctuary! Great local fishing and wildlife refuges. Enjoy the riverfront beach in town. Spend your evenings dining on the large screened back porch and cooking on the grill. Ample parking for your boat right out front!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This was the home that my brother and I grew up in. This house was built with love by our Mom and Dad. We hope you can feel the warmth and love we did growing up there. We are located 1 mile from Mattamuskeet Lake, about 20 mins from the Ferry in Swan Quarter that takes you to the Island of Ocracoke. We are also 20 minutes from State Boat Acesses. If you want a Beach Day,we are only 1 hour 15 mins for the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Access to the waterfront and boat dock. There is a small boat launch for your small boats, jet skis, kayaks and paddleboards next to the pier. Shared use of the screened-in gazebo. Belhaven, NC sits right on the Pungo River with great fishing, kayaking, boating and all other water sports. Relax at Beas Bungalow while sitting on the front porch reading, relaxing or watching people ride their bikes and golf carts. Walk two minutes and have breakfast at Gingerbread Bakery. Continue your day by walking to our numerous shops and eateries. Like fishing? You can take your fishing pole to the nearby river and fish or play pickleball at one of our pickleball courts in town.

‘Fancy Like’ - Dog Friendly (no kids please)

I have converted my downstairs bonus room into a comfortable private living space. Guests have their own entry door from the outside. I live on a deep water canal with boat dock, and am 1/2 mile from the local boat ramp. You may use the dock space and there is plenty of room to park your trailer or boat and trailer. Storage space for hunting and fishing equipment too! Guests have their own private bath, and kitchen AREA with coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave. No kitchen sink or range.

The house is near the riverfront town of Belhaven, that offers restaurants and public boat ramp options that provide access to the Pungo River and Pamlico Sound. The house is a short drive to Bell Island Swan Quarter Fishing Pier.

Enjoy the pleasant living space with amenities like WiFi, a washing machine, dryer, AC, and heating. The bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer for your convenience. Come enjoy the best Hyde County has to offer while also being conveniently located 10 miles from the town of Belhaven, 20 miles from Swan Quarter Ferry which leads to North Carolinas beautiful outer banks. With water access, a boat ramp and dockage this newly built cabin allows you to have access to some of the best fishing/hunting around. Located on the grounds is a fire pit, hammock and also a short walking trail to enjoy the best of what nature has to offer.

Centrally located 10 mins from Lake Mattamuskeet, 5 mins from Ferry Station to Ocracoke Island, 1 hr to OBX. Stop for a few nights on the way to OBX or to catch the ferry. Dogs are NOT allowed any longer, but message me requests and I may consider pets outside or in enclosed porch with PRIOR approval and guidelines.
