Each suite, on the second floor, is private and secure, each with its own full, private, ensuite bathroom. Minimum 2 night stay required on weekends. Breakfast is not provided. The owner-host is a retired 20 season music composer, consultant, and educator for the Festival.

Lakeshore North is a beautiful area of Waterloo. It is walking distance to Laurel Creek Conservation Area and a short drive to St. Jacobs Farmers Market. Self-serve breakfast includes cereal, toast, bagels, cream cheese, peanut butter, jam, yogourt, muffins, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juice and milk. The basement bedroom is large (18 feet X 12 feet) and normally very cool, but fans are available if necessary.

Hathaway's Cottage is a charming, yellow brick, 1894 Ontario Cottage, within a 10 minute walk to Avon and Studio Theatre, restaurants, shops and Avon River. The Tom Patterson and the Festival Theatre are only a 15 minute stroll away. Opened as a Bed and Breakfast in 2001, our home has been lovingly restored, keeping its cozy charm, furnished with antiques and textiles. Our home is smoke-free with ample parking.
