This 3 -bed, 2- bath main house features an expansive deck, separate cottage and unparalleled river views. Catch Sockeye at the house approx. July 17-Aug 7, quantity varies each year. Check info for Silvers (late Aug - mid Sept) and trout before booking. The River House is the perfect basecamp near open-water fishing in Seward (2hrs) or in Homer (1.5 hrs).

Alden's Vacation Rental is located on Scout Lake Road in Sterling Alaska. We are in the heart of the best fishing in AK. King, Sockeye, Silver & Pink Salmon. There is also excellent Rainbow trout and Dolly Varden Trout. The world famous Kenai River is just a mile away. This is a very peaceful area with lots of privacy. The Moose River is also only a mile away. The famous Swanson River canoe trails are just down the road. There is a local Pizzeria, restaurants and local taverns with live music.

When your day of Alaskan adventures comes to an end, return, cook dinner in the full kitchen, spend the evening lounging fireside in our outdoor space and finish off with a relaxing soak in the indoor jetted jacuzzi tub.

A great home base for fishing the Kenai River, exploring the Kenai Peninsula, relaxing after work, or enjoying a convenient stay near everything Soldotna offers.

Amazing location right on the famous Kenai River! A Fisher-person’s dream location, located right at an envious “Haynes Fishing Hole”. Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique fishing cabin located in Sterling, AK! This beautiful log cabin with a loft can sleep 1-4 guests. Maximum number of guests is 2. Extra two can stay but cleaning fee per person will incur. Next-door is a bunkhouse for more space preferred people with additional charge.

Poppy Ridge House

Your family will enjoy our 2100 sqft home located in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced backyard. The house is a short drive from the Kenai River and right around the corner from a few restaurants, a local bar, and a grocery store. There is also plenty of parking for a travel trailer or boat. This cabin is great for your fishing, hunting or romantic getaway. This cabin offers 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, bathroom, a washer and dryer and WiFi. This location may have some neighbors close by but it offers the seclusion you enjoy when you want to just get away and relax.
