Suite 3 - The Sonoran Traveler

The Sonoran Traveler Suite is #3 of the 5 rooms at Spin & Margie's Desert Hideaway, a quiet oasis retreat on 29 Palms Highway, less than 5 minutes from the center of Joshua Tree. This homey room has a kitchen and a small second room with single bed perfect for children, family or a friend. The room has its own separate mini-courtyard, which lets out into our larger shared area. Situated on 2+ acre private grounds with a beautiful pool. Peaceful, secluded, yet close to town and the National Park.

Root-Stone Lodge: Betelgeuse

Betelgeuse Suite, named after the red supergiant star, is one of our five rooms available. This private room features a queen-sized pillow top mattress, 100% cotton, high thread count linens, flat screen TV with streaming channels, mini fridge, Kuerig, stone tiled bathroom with walk in shower, fresh towels, a private balcony with stunning views overlooking Strawberry Creek. Access to lobby with fireplace, kitchen, bbq, deck and hot tub are potentially community areas, tho often not fully booked

South Wing Suite at Root-Stone Lodge

South Wing Suite is the peaceful get away you have been looking for. Nestled along Strawberry Creek, amidst a towering grove of old cedar and pine with large wrap around deck. Family owned since 1991. The cabin is attached to the lodge that we built as an addition. You have a private entrance, full kitchen, dining room, living room with large old stone fireplace, bedroom with queen bed, loft with two twin beds (trundle), and comfortable pull out sofa. Sleeps 6. Has full bath with porcelain tub.

Root Stone Lodge: Mountainside

One mile from the center of town in Idyllwild, the Root Stone Lodge sits above the year round flowing Strawberry Creek. Mountainside Room is one of four rooms available and features pine walled room with queen-sized pillow-top bed, large flat-screen TV, apartment size fridge, private bathroom with walk in stone shower, private full kitchen and private entrance. Enjoy in-room coffee maker, cream and sugar. From Mountainside Room, you have full access to lobby, dining room and deck with a grill.
