Sonka Resort – Mirror House • Lake View

Sonka Resort’s Mirror Houses are set by a frozen lake, surrounded by forest and open sky. Each cabin has a mirrored exterior for privacy, a lake-view glass wall, double bed, sofa bed, kitchenette, bathroom, Wi-Fi, and a projector screen. Local breakfast is available on request with at least three days’ notice. With several BBQ kotas on the premises, guests can enjoy outdoor cooking anytime. Igloo saunas and hot tubs are available to book. A quiet Lapland escape under the northern lights.

Welcome to Ollero Eco Lodge – a private riverside retreat on the Arctic Circle near Rovaniemi. The entire property is reserved for one group at a time, ensuring full privacy. The lodge sleeps up to 6 guests (8 with extra beds) in three buildings. Only 10 minutes from Rovaniemi centre, yet surrounded by forest, river and minimal light pollution – ideal for Northern Lights viewing in season. Enjoy Finnish sauna and, in winter, a refreshing dip in the frozen river for a true Arctic experience.

Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish, log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi shore, only some steps to the water or ice. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive with no street lights.

Eräelämys Lapissa! Täällä voit lämmittää ruokaa tulilla ja saunoa puusaunassa. Saunamökki rauhallisella paikalla, noin 25 kilometriä Rovaniemeltä. Sijaitsee toisen mökin pihapiirissä. Saunamökin kuistilta näkymä metsään päin. Vesijohtoa ei ole, vesiastiat ovat täytettynä tullessasi. Tilava sauna. Grillikota käytössäsi (noin 50 metriä mökistä). Kuivakäymälä, johon kulku katoksen kautta. Jääkaappi, vedenkeitin, kahvinkeitin ja mikro. Ei keittolevyä. Liinavaatteet/pyyhkeet sisältyy hintaan.

A cosy cottage in a beautiful area only a 30min drive from the city centre. You can set up a bonfire by the stream, listen to the magic sounds of the nature and watch the sky. This is one of the best places in town to see the Aurora Borealis.Now they are at their best and you can see them just looking out of the window inside the cottage!The cottage is right next to the river Ounasjoki.The cottage is only a short distance from the city center but you will be just like different world.

Holiday Home Lumimarja

Welcome to the middle of nature to enjoy the cozy atmosphere of a log cabin. This holiday home, built in 2013, is located only about a 30-minute drive from the center of Rovaniemi and Santa Claus Village. The cabin has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a fireplace, and a wood-fired sauna where you can experience the Finnish sauna culture. There is also a private lean-to (laavu) on the premises.

Escape to tranquility at the new Egoa Jättipiilo Cottage for two in village of Sinettä on the scenic banks of the Ounasjoki River — just 18 km from Rovaniemi center. Step straight onto ski trails from your door and enjoy the peace of Lapland’s pure nature. If lucky, you can see northern lights from the bed. Nearby await Husky point huskies, Sinettä Saunamaailma, and the magical Arctic Snowhotel.

Traditional Finnish cottage

This traditional Finnish cottage is located by the Lake Norvajärvi 15 km from the center of Rovaniemi and 10 km from the airport. We have renovated the cottage in summer and fall 2019&2022 for your better use. Here you can feel the Finnish cottage culture and enjoy the peace of nature and silence. If the weather is good for the Northern lights and you want to see them this is the place.

Northern Lights Cabin

Amazing place nearly in the Rovaniemi city and Santa Claus villages. Individual cottage in the peace of the countryside. All furniture and equipment are high quality and brand new. There is a slide at the property, from which you can go down the hills. The cottage includes skis and children's sledges for outdoor play. book towels and bedlines separately (20 €/ person). Thanks!
