A day trip to the Atlantic Ocean is easy as the cottage is approximately ninety miles to beaches both north and south.

There is ample parking for boats and horse trailers. Pasture board is available for the equestrian enthusiasts for a nominal fee. When out and about, be sure to visit the Columbia Museum and the visitor center and learn about the history of Columbia.
