A quiet place by a quiet bay at the countryside. There is no public transport. The road to our place is a narrow road up the hill towards the mountain Beinisvør. By the town Lopra (before the tunnel to Sumba) you turn right. "Um Hestin". Before the top of the hill, turn left: Víkabyrgi. Our house is the last one on your left side. Løðupakkhúsið - Historical Warehouse - Top Floor

Enjoy a stay steeped in history in a renovated 100-year-old Faroese warehouse on the water’s edge in the local habour. Fully renovated in 2019, Løðupakkhúsið features all modern amenities while preserving the traditional features of the house with original exposed beams, neutral tones and wooden flooring. Dette hyggelige traditionelle færøske hus fra 1930 er placeret centralt i byen og i gåafstand til caféer og supermarkeder. Bussen kører direkte fra færgen til huset, så det er ikke nødvendigt at have en bil med. Sengelinned og håndklæder med i prisen. Huset har ikke udendørsareal, men er perfekt, hvis du vil bruge det som base eller bare vil slappe af i Tvøroyri. Suderoy er den sydligste ø på Færøerne og har mange smukke steder, hvor man kan vandre. Fester, høj musik og rygning er ikke tilladt.

Her kan du roligt læne dig tilbage og slappe af i vores unikke og rolige sommerhus. Huset blev bygget i 1920, men er netop blevet nyrenoveret. Nyd den flotte havudsigt fra næsten alle vinduer. Placeringen er central. Den lokale købmand ligger 250 m fra huset, og 30 m fra huset ligger kajen, hvor der er mulighed for at fiske. Der er 4 værelser, 2 større og 2 mindre. Tilsammens er der 7 sovepladser. Kun 10 min kørsel til fodboldhal, svømmehal, café’er og resturanter.

Hyggeligt sommerhus på kanten til havet

Sommerhuset står helt tæt på havet med udsigt over fjorden, den nærliggende marina og Torshavn. Husets unikke placering gør det muligt at observere et varieret dyreliv af søfugle, enkelte sæle, fiskebåde, kaproningbåde og store cruisebåde helt tæt på. Dette lille hus er i 2 etager. I stueetagen er køkkenet og stuen samlet i et rum. På øvre etagen er soveværelset og badeværelset.

My traditional Faroese house is located on the southern island, Sudoroy, surrounded by breathtaking nature with public transportation right by the door. The 2 hour ferry trip to the island, return ticket about 11 euro and 37 euro with car, is beautiful. Newly renovated house decorated stylish and simple with danish designs. Beautiful sea and mountains view from all rooms.

We renovated this old boathouse recently. There is a rowingboat available as well. It is the family’s boat. The house offers you a peacefull sanctuary to collect your thoughts. 5 minutes walking distance to groceryshopping. Bus stop to the rest of the island is oposite the house as well. There is a bed for two people and a couch that also can fit two people
