Old Jack's - 17th Century cottage + stunning view

Wake up to this stunning view, and enjoy morning coffee or afternoon tea outside our traditional cottage gazing at fishing boats in the beck, higgledy-piggledy rooftops or out to sea Popular with artists, and recently mentioned in the Saturday Times, our former fisherman's cottage is warm and cosy, and perfect for a romantic break or relaxing getaway. Mortimer & Whitehouse filmed Gone Fishing here and it's the home of Old Jack (Bernard Cribbins) in the BBC children's series Old Jack's Boat.

The Smithy at Cross Pipes, Goathland

The Smithy is a self contained stone built cottage situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. It was built in the 1800’s and was originally one of two blacksmiths serving the community of Goathland. The Smithy offers you a comfortable base to visit the local area. Spacious studio accommodation with a king sized bed in a recessed area, walk in shower and toilet, full kitchen facilities, wood burning stove, TV and Wi-Fi. There is an outside seating area and private parking.

A lovely self catering holiday apartment,sleeps 2 and dogs are welcome. It’s situated above the lovely laurel inn pub. The kitchen/lounge area has WI-FI,recliner and easy chair,and a table and chairs. The bedroom has a quality double bed,hanging space and a smart t.v. Bedding and towels are provided. The bathroom has a shower,toilet,sink and a heated towel rail. ACCESSIBILITY- we are sorry to say that our rooms are not suitable for those with limited mobility,due to the steepness of stairs.

Enjoy some beautiful scenic views with a walk along the Cleavland way. A choice of 2 pubs with yummy homemade food available within walking distance.

Cosy rural cottage in National Park

Come and stay in the beautiful village of Rosedale Abbey in the spectacular North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Moo’s is our converted stone cottage with a lovely living kitchen with cast iron stove and a vintage country feel. A handmade turned staircase leads up to the en-suite bedroom with metal bed stead and roll top bath. Adjacent there is a spacious covered patio area with seating, dining and storage, which looks across to an outdoor patio with fruit trees seating and parking space.

The Cottage occupies a front line position, with breathtaking, uninterrupted sea views, just off the high street in the bottom of staithes old town. Two minutes walk from the famous Cod & Lobster pub and eatery. Sleeps 2 The cottage used to be the communal bakery where the womenfolk would bring their dough to be baked You will find yourself immersed in the history of this quaint old village once home to Captain James Cook, artist Dame Laura Knight, and countless smugglers.

Get away from it all, unplug and unwind. Maltkiln House Annex is the perfect getaway for two people who love to be in the countryside. You can enjoy uninterrupted views sitting at the bottom of the garden which is your own space. The Annex dates back to the 16th century and is full of charm. You can walk from our Annex straight up onto the Cleveland way where you can walk or bike for miles. Our Annex is a popular stop off for people walking the coast to coast.

A beautifully presented and substantial barn conversion in a fine position with far reaching views over surrounding countryside and sea beyond. This one-bedroom cottage is set in an elevated position in Robin Hood’s Bay. It has been refurbished to an exceptionally high standard including oak wood floors, log burning stove and a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom. Sleeps 2. Available all year for short breaks or full weeks. One small dog allowed.
