Jacks Cottage -

A beautiful oak framed building with great views of the south downs. Accommodation comprising of a comfortable lounge with TV and wifi and log burner. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, oven and microwave. One double bedroom downstairs with en suite shower room. Upstairs there is a mezzanine with two single beds and a sitting area above the lounge area with a bathroom with free standing bath. The outside space is a south facing patio with table and chairs and a BBQ is available.

Built in 1845 it comes with a bespoke fireplace in an open plan living/dining room, two spacious double bedrooms, a courtyard dining area and free off-road parking on the drive. Staplecross has a lively local community and is famed for its access to ancient woodlands and walking trails on foot and for our traditional Sussex bonfire celebrations.

Situated in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on a sheep farm of 23 acres (which you are free to roam), this is a real get-away-from-it-all location. One of the most peaceful and relaxing places you will ever stay. With underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove you will be cosy whatever the weather.

Leave the world behind at our organic smallholding hideaway – the perfect antidote to stress and modern life. This is a true romantic retreat for two, with space for up to four (extra bed available). The ancient woodland, the orchard, the old fashioned sheep, the hens, make this the place to unwind. In the evenings, dine and chat by the log stove or around a campfire. I didn't have to move to Devon, after all, because I found here.
