Irini΄s house is a Cretan traditional stone house, built back in the 19 century. The house is nestled in a quiet village hidden in the mountains, called Alones. The original character and the Cretan traditional architecture have been preserved and taken under serious consideration during renovation. The village is a great base to explore a lot of outstanding places and beaches such as Plakias (25 minutes away by car), Damnoni, Moni Preveli, Rodakino, Frangokastello, Hora Sfakion and Rethimno. If you want to immerse yourself in Cretan life in a peaceful location, the house is a perfect choice. It is ideal for those who want to relax from the city bustle and enjoy the nature. The house is located in a small traditional village which consists of two neighborhoods built on two elongated hills and separated by a ravine. At the bottom of the ravine is a very old stone fountain with trees. The houses are masterfully built of stone on the successive levels of the two hills thus providing a beautiful traditional settlement. The view to the opposite villages are impressive. The flora is especially rich in herbs and medicinal herbs such as oregano, thyme and labdanum.

In the living room, opposite the fire place there is a bed-couch which can be used by 2 people. There is also a raised room with a double bed.The toilet is spacious with an open shower. There is also a big veranda .
