The Shoemakers Cottage has undoubtedly one of the best locations in Whitby right at the bottom of the 199 steps tucked in a quiet alley off the cobbled street. A small but cosy romantic cottage over 3 floors close to the harbour, the abbey and very close to Tate Hill Beach. BBQ and picnic basket set provided. Romantic victorian freestanding bath in the main bedroom. Arrival is down the busy cobbled church street. Best location. On-street parking scratch card provided in the W zone 10min walk.

Batty Barn is a barn conversion on a working farm close to Scarborough. Harwood Dale is a rural setting, set in the National Park.The cottage is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and we do accept a well behaved dog at the property. The cottage sleeps 4. There is a king size bed in bedroom 1 which has an en-suite bathroom, the second bedroom has two single beds. A travel cot & highchair are available on request. The property is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems due to steps and a spiral staircase. Check in 3pm. Check out 11.00 am. I charge no cleaning fee but please leave tidy.
