Casa Milorca Cottage Suite

The Karoo-style Cottage Suite sleeps two and is tucked away in the pretty gardens behind the main house at Casa Milorca, which was built in 1860 and is situated in one of Prince Albert's prettiest streets in the historic heart of the town. The cottage has a king-size bed with quality white bed linen, and there is an en suite bathroom with shower, as well as a compact lounge and dining area. The kitchenette area has washing up facilities, a toaster, kettle, microwave and bar fridge, and basic kitchen utensils. There is also a tea and coffee station with home-baked rusks. The Cottage Suite, which has its own private verandah, can also be configured with two single beds instead of a king-size bed. Thanks to air-conditioning the cottage is cool in summer and warm in winter; there is also has a standing fan if that is preferred.

Enjoy a picnic under the giant pecan trees in the olive grove, and pick your own sweet, organic grapes from the antique vineyard. Relax on the pool loungers in the shade of the fever trees. Fall asleep to the sound of the leiwater cobbling past your villa at night.

Located on a hectare of farmland in Prince Albert, with privacy, peace and security, within walking distance to restaurants, shops and museum. Children are welcome, making it an ideal getaway for a family, or for 2 couples travelling together. Aircon, swimming pool and braai facilities, fireplace for winter. Electricity is solar-powered and grid. Two double en-suites make it comfortable, an additional suite available [Acacia Annexe, book separately]. North facing verandah for afternoon sunsets.

Feather Nest Guest House | 2 Bedroom Suite

Tucked along a little stream, boasting with bird life, this private large 60 sq meter (650sq feet) 2 bedroom apartment provides a sense of peace and tranquility although conveniently located within the town in one of the most desirable areas of Oudtshoorn. Central to restaurants, shops, art galleries, " At 85 on Church" is a spacious, charming house set in a large garden with a swimming pool and an outdoor braai (bbq) The back garden and swimming pool are shared with the guests of the cottage. This fully equipped house, sleeps up to 7 with 3 spacious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. You may rent it alone or together with the garden cottage.
